Conference programme now available
15 May 2026The COUNTER conference programme is now available on our conference page.
The central theme of the conference is AI and the impact of AI on e-resource usage, as well as broader COUNTER-related discussions. Thank you to everyone who submitted proposals and to our Education Committee for reviewing the proposals. We have two new features for this year’s conference:
- A pre-conference introduction to COUNTER session – feedback from previous conference has shown that some people come to the conference soon after starting work on COUNTER and would appreciate some more educational sessions. This year, Tasha will provide a short ‘Introduction to COUNTER’ session before the start of the main conference. This will be an opportunity to learn a bit more about the basics of COUNTER.
- Poster sessions – in addition to the longer presentations, we have two poster sessions. In these sessions, speakers will give five-minute flash talks on a range of COUNTER-related topics. The speakers also have an opportunity to provide a poster to accompany their session and these posters will be available on our website.
The half-day, online COUNTER conference is happening on 11th June. The conference is an exclusive member benefit. All presentations will be recorded and shared with registered participants. For those who are not COUNTER members, we will put all 2026 presentations on our events page when we open next year’s conference for registration. Visit that page to see videos from our 2024 and 2025 conferences.
The conference will also include the COUNTER AGM. In advance of the AGM, we are delighted to share the 2025 Directors’ Report.
