Our members are the foundation of COUNTER: they help us maintain and develop the standard which provides libraries, publishers and other interested parties with a consistent, comparable method for generating usage statistics.

COUNTER members also support the whole knowledge community by helping us create and deliver educational materials, both on-demand and through webinars, to increase understanding of the Code of Practice.

COUNTER Members Benefit From:

  • Rapid access to our Executive Director for guidance and support in implementing COUNTER.
  • Access to our member network to share expertise and ideas about usage metrics.
  • Early consultation about potential changes to the Code of Practice.
  • The opportunity to engage with us through advisory groups, or to stand for election to our Board of Directors.
  • And of course, voting rights on the activities that will shape our future.
