Call for case studies: share how you use COUNTER data
29 October 2024Do you want to share how you use COUNTER data? We are looking for case studies. This is your opportunity to showcase what you are doing with COUNTER data and how you are innovating to uncover new insights about your work. This might be, for example, about how you are working with open access or free-to-read resources, where you can help address some misconceptions. Or maybe you have an example of using COUNTER data to demonstrate research or teaching impact. We want to hear your COUNTER case study!
What does a COUNTER case study look like?
You can share your case study as a blog post. If so, aim for around 300-500 words. Alternatively you can record a short video. We recommend no more than 10 minutes. Please begin by stating your name and institution to improve accessibility.
In your case study please include: the challenge you were hoping to address; what you did; who the work aimed to help; and the impact of what you did. It would also be good to include something about the challenges and limitations you encountered and what you plan to do next.
How do you get started with your case study?
If you have a story you’d like to share please contact Siân at sian@countermetrics.org to discuss your ideas. We will help with crafting your story. We look forward to helping your share what you are doing.
