Thank you for being part of our conference

12 June 2026

Thank you to everyone who was part of the third COUNTER conference and AGM yesterday. An incredible 470 people signed up for the conference – nearly 200 more than last year. These participants represented 316 different member organisations. In addition, 19 library consortia took advantage of our consortia tickets to bring some of their member librarians to the event.

We are grateful to our Education Committee for putting together a great programme. And thank to all our speakers for your varied and interesting presentations. We did a couple of things differently this year. For the first time we included flash poster sessions to bring more voices into the discussions. We also added a pre-conference introduction to COUNTER session in response to feedback on last year’s conference. If you were at the conference please do fill in our feedback survey to let us know what you thought and to help shape next year’s conference.

We will be sharing recordings and other materials with members later this month. We will make recordings available to everyone next year in the run up to our 2027 conference. See our events page for recordings of previous conferences and webinars. In the meantime, Tasha and Siân are going to have a good rest this weekend!
