Annual General Meeting and COUNTER Conference 2026

24 April 2026

We will hold our Annual General Meeting online on Thursday 11 June 2026 at 14:45 GMT (15:45 CEST, 09:45 EDT). All COUNTER members are invited to attend to receive the Directors’ Report and financials from 2025 and to learn more about our plans for 2026 and 2027.

The AGM will take place alongside the COUNTER Conference 2026. This half-day, online conference will have a particular focus on measuring usage metrics in an AI world, as well as a range of experiences and innovations with COUNTER usage metrics and updates on COUNTER.

The conference is free for COUNTER members. Register using the link below. Please note that only COUNTER members can vote in the AGM, although all conference attendees are welcome to attend. To learn more about COUNTER membership and to join to support our work, take a look at our membership page. If your organisation is a member but you encounter problems registering please contact sian@countermetrics.org.

Thank you to everyone who submitted a range of high-quality proposals. We are now looking through these proposals and will publish the conference programme in the coming weeks.

Limited free tickets for libraries within consortia members

In addition to the member tickets, there are also a limited number of free tickets available for libraries that are part of consortia members of COUNTER. This year we are asking consortia to select up to 10 librarian members per consortium to receive free tickets to the conference. We will be contacting all our consortia members directly to explain the process. If you are a member of a consortium and would like to take advantage of one of these tickets please contact your consortia contacts.

Videos from 2025

In addition to announcing the 2026 conference, we are also now making public the presentations from our 2025 conference. You can find them all on our events page.
